IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR EXPERIENCED CLASS A CDL TRUCK DRIVER. Manufacturing company in Martin County is seeking a dependable and organized CDL Class A truck driver to join its local fleet, driving and operating a semi-truck with a flatbed trailer. Candidates will need to have route experience, making multiple stops a day not just picking up from one location and delivering to another location or dock to unload. Drivers are required to have the skill to be able to back up the trailer attached to the tractor into a tight area. Drivers are required to load their own trailers in the morning with the pallets of orders arranged for them. Home every night! Hours start early in the morning anywhere from 4 am to 6 am depending on where the route is that day. Direct Hire full time position. Excellent pay and company benefits. Drug Free workplace. Your DayClass A Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities may include the following: Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehicle Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs. Transport materials from Palm City Facility to assigned destination Ensure materials are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations, may need to use small forklift Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients Assist in mapping delivery routes Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries Communicate with dispatch as needed Check weather conditions and road reports before departure Always ensure vehicle is kept clean Notify warehouse of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs as provided by supervisor Adhere to company rules and regulation

At least two years CDL Truck driving with a clean driving record. Ability to operate forklift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems An innate sense of direction Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful High level of composure and good stress management
