ON-SITE - DIRECT HIRE. We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an IT team in Palm City, Martin County for a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network systems across our organization. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations, with a focus on Windows and Mac environments, networking, servers, and cloud services like Microsoft 365. The IT Technician will play a key role in resolving user issues promptly and implementing best practices for system reliability and security.
Your Day
PC Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including component replacement, virus removal, and performance optimization.OS Build and Installation: Build, install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, including Windows (e.g., Windows 10/11) and macOS, ensuring compatibility with organizational software and security standards.Windows and Mac Support: Provide end-user support for Windows-based systems (e.g., Active Directory, file sharing) and Mac environments (e.g., Time Machine backups, Apple ecosystem integration), including application troubleshooting and updates.Networking: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, routers, switches, and VPNs; monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.Windows Server Management: Administer Windows Server environments (e.g., Server 2019/2022), including user account management, file permissions, backups, and basic virtualization.

Your Experience
Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus. Strong emphasis on hands-on, work-related experience in the field; practical on-the-job experience is highly valued and may substitute for formal education.Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system administration; familiarity with Windows, Mac, networking, servers, and Microsoft 365 is required.Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Proficiency in hardware repair, software installation, and network configuration tools.Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-technical users.Ability to work independently or in a team, with strong time management.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., for moving equipment) and work in various environments, including warehouses, under desks and in server rooms requiring
