Full time Warehouse Manager for manufacturing company in Martin County. Monday Friday, minimum schedule 11:00 am 7:30 pm or until completion Manage warehouse departments to ensure employees are properly trained and their performance and progress is monitored.Monitor outside vendors to ensure they perform the jobs they are hired to complete in a timely and satisfactory fashion.Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the Warehouse workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.Maintain warehouse staff by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees.Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.Plan, monitor and appraise job results. Train employees and monitor their performance and progress.
Your Day
Manage Shipping and Receiving area of the main warehouse ensuring they are meeting their production goals, schedules are met, and work is being completed in a timely manner.Ability to assess employees and their work area to suggest necessary improvements and facilitate needed changes to procedures to improve production, performance, and safety.Ensure the physical condition of the warehouses is maintained by planning and implementing scheduled inspections of the facilities and equipment.Presenting requisitions for repair to the Executive Manager of Warehouse Operations (EMWO), and preparing requisitions for approval for replacement items, as required.Ensure scheduled maintenance i staff and / or outside vendors. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing requisitions for repair, and generating requisitions for replacement as required.Ensure daily housekeeping schedules are completed.Ensure Shipping counter is maintained by

Your Experience
Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.Distribution knowledge a must.Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience in an automated warehouse environment. Works well with management, peers and subordinates.Ability to communicate and conduct themselves professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts at all times.Extensive knowledge of material and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
