Full time direct hire Warehouse Manager for company located in Palm City, Martin County. Manage warehouse departments to ensure employees are properly trained and their performance and progress is monitored.Monitor outside vendors to ensure they perform the jobs they are hired to complete in a timely and satisfactory fashion.Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the Warehouse workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.Maintain warehouse staff by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees.Oversee employee’s performance by coaching, counseling and appraising performance and progress.Manage Shipping and Receiving area of the main warehouse ensuring production goals, schedules are met, and work is being completed in a timely manner.Ability to assess employees and their work area to suggest necessary improvements and facilitate needed changes to procedures to improve production, performance, and safety.Ensure the physical condition of the warehouses is maintained

Your Experience
Advanced technological skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs with the capacity to expand knowledge to accounting/inventory/warehouse software and reporting.Organizational skills necessary. Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or 5 years experience in related field of expertise. Experience:Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.Distribution knowledge a must.Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience in an automated warehouse environment.Required Skills:Works well with management, peers and subordinates.Ability to communicate and conduct themselves professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts at all times.Extensive knowledge of material and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.Physical Requirements:Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and sit for long periods of time.Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
